The Nara candle festival is the celebration of Canberra’s sister city relationship with Nara Japan. Enjoy a free event full of entertainment, delicious Japanese food and cultural activities. There is more than 2000 candles on display, Japanese entertainment, martial arts, lantern making, sumo wrestling, just to name a few of the fun activities in Canberra’s very own Japanese garden, Canberra Nara Peace Park.
