The Chifley units are a short stroll from the Chifley shops, where you will find a supermarket, hair salon, medical centre, and "a bite to eat" - a fabulous cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner (3 nights a week). For more substantial shopping needs, Westfield Woden is 10-15 minute walk away, with most major retailers (Coles, David Jones, Woolworths etc.) represented. If you're in the mood for a movie, there's a Hoyt's at Woden as well. If you or just fancy some open space, there's a large playing field directly behind the apartment complex.
