The level of detail and care put into the design of this miniature village is incredible. There are plenty of little, easy-to-miss things going on outside of the more obvious main exhibits; characters planning secret meetings behind buildings, domestic disputes, more are all waiting to be discovered. These have all been done with a subtle sense of humour.
The main displays are featured in two sections — the Original Display area and the International Display area. Incorporated within the park are the Miniature Train displays, and for something a little different, visit the dolls houses in the Rose Room Indoor display.
The gardens of Cockington Green themselves are just as stunning. They are immaculately groomed and well maintained. It has dazzling floral displays and smaller shrubs giving it a cottage like feeling. Spring is the perfect time to visit Cockington Green Gardens and is certainly an enchanting experience for young and old.
